Welcome to Ethereal Chain Horizons
Every project starts somewhere, and this one started with a question I couldn't shake:
how do you make genuine sense of technologies that are changing faster than most people can follow?
That question is what led me to write "The Blockchain Expedition", and it's what led me to build "Ethereal Chain Horizons" alongside it. The site grew out of a simple realisation: a book has edges, and the subjects I care about don't. Blockchain, cryptocurrency, the broader technological shifts reshaping finance and ownership.
These aren't static topics you can cover once and consider done. They develop, contradict themselves, surprise everyone, and keep moving. A website can move with them.
What you'll find here is an extension of everything the book started: articles, guides, reflections, and practical insights that go beyond what fits between two covers. Some pieces explain concepts from the ground up. Others dig into developments that happened after the book went to press. A few are simply things I found worth thinking about carefully and writing down.
I don't position myself as someone with all the answers. I'm not sure those people exist in a field this young and this fast-moving. What I can offer is an honest attempt to explain difficult things clearly, without the hype that surrounds this space or the jargon that too often substitutes for actual understanding. If something I write here helps a concept click, prompts a question you hadn't thought to ask, or simply makes a complicated subject feel a little less remote, that's exactly what this is for.
